polishing bellypan/tunnel
i have a 71 panther 340 i started polishing the tunnel and bellypan but im having trouble anyone have any suggestions on the best/easiest products to use to get a good finish??

are you polishing the paint to make it shiny? Or are you stripping it down to the alluminum???
We're all kinda lost here.
If you're polishing paint, then use McGuires. If you're polishing Aluminum, then use Mother's Aluminum Polish.

If you want chrome-like, then you'll need white polishing rouge & a cotton wheel. Get the right stuff & you won't have to work so hard. Found this site with great prices!! Buffing and Polishing Wheels
Mother's is good to keep it clean AFTER it is polished!

IndianRvrShiver, are you saying that mothers aluminum polish and a powerball are not the proper tools for polishing...is there something more effective out there?

well here are my results, the white rouge did work a little better but i think that for the amount of time spent with the rouge it should have came out nicer....in any case i think if i would have gone, tripold (or whatever) then white then jewelers it would have been a perfect mirror but damn that would take prolly about 20 hours to do.
