grip heaters

I bought a set of Kimpex grips heaters to replace the stock ones which were wrecked when I changed grips. Thought I could wire to existing switch but new ones have two wires for each grip (both black) and stock setup has three (two blue and one brown)to each. Can I tie into existing wiring? If so how? Sled is 98 XLT LTD. Or am I better off using switch and wiring that came with new heaters and following instuctions that came with new set?

Sounds like the old system was a 2-level heater, and the new one is a single level. You're probably okay to hook to the existing wiring. I'm guessing you'd hook one black wire to blue, and one to brown. I'd check it with a meter first though... find out which blue wire goes to which setting. Brown should be ground.
