Well, I picked up a '79 Scorpion 340TK for next to nothing and have been spending the last month cleaning and fixing what the privious owner screwed up. Anyways there were 2 spots on the hood where the glass got weak and I repaired that. Now, I'm in the process of painting it. Do you guys think it'll be OK maybe changing it up a little? I'm thinking of staying red but thinking of adding a little pearl or metalflake to the clear coat and also keeping the decals simular but maybe changing the colors to silver with black trim???
The main thing I don't want to do is make this to the point that if I have to sell it, I won't be able to get what it's worth. I know these sleds are cheap to begin with but this sled is actually really solid and complete.
here's some pics of when I brought it home. I'll try to post some newer pics especially of the dash. I took that ugly woodgrain stuff off around the gauges and such and put engine turned aluminum vinyl instead. It looks sweeeeeeet.
