Polaris HID Lights?

Ok so I got these for my brother for christmas, and he got exited and put them in. He has a 2002 Edge X 600. He fired it up and they looked awesome. He ran it the other day again, and one of the lights was dimmer than the other, and he took em out and they were extremely hot!! I put them in my sled and they worked, but got really hot. What could be the problem, is it sled related, or light?

hid's run hotter. the dimmer bulb is probably due to a poor connection or a bad ground.

get some terminal cleaner and clean the connection out and try it again. And DONT TOUCH THOSE BULBS! the oil from your fingers will make them blow quicker than anything.
