Im from Nevada, but Im working in Alaska right now, and have my new 800R here. (Nevada-5000ft, Alaska-Sea Level) I tell you what 150hp @ sea level is unbelievable. Id be willing to bet I can pack the skis 1/2 mile!

"Pack the skis" you pull the skiis off the ground and they dont touch the ground. All you have to do is set you suspension upright its not that difficult. 1/2 mile is an exageration.

Its alot better then a wheelee, considering the power it takes, due to the surface area of 144" track on the ground in comparision with a tire.

LOL, now I'm really lost.I'm not a Dylan fan. Never heard of a Lynx before until litle_Jon brought it up. I'm lookin' at the pics and they look identical,BRP and Skidoo and in this , or another thread, I've read that the Lynx is different from a REV. Litle_ Jon's avatar has a pic of a Bomdardier head which I'm guessing is from a Lynx? What's the comparison? Chevy versus Pontiac? Canadian vs European, what, what?

Ski Doo is just here in North America, althouth they are going over to Bombardier slowly, all the new sleds say it now. Lynx is BRP in Europe.

Ah, thnx, SEG. Kinda thought so but I was reading a thread on the Lynx and would swear they were sayin' the Lynx didn't perform as well as the Skidoo and I'm lookin' at 'em thinkin' how could that be? They look identical. Unless they're restricted somehow like some motorcycles.Europe has tighter sound regs on some of them, giving less hp ratings compared to their US counterparts.

Meh. I've started thinking about selling the sled and getting a PWC sooner or later. If this winter really sucks sooner sounds better.
