comparison?

right now i have an 85 jag 440. now most of you probally know this is a sigle carb sled.

but i'm know getting an 89 cougar 500. now this is a dual carb set up. now from what i have heard from the people i'm getting the sled from is that when your on it this sled really moves. and alot of times the skis come right off the ground.

so my question is even though this cougar does have dual carbs and is a 500 does any one think or know if these two sleds compare, as far as acceleration, top speed, reliability, etc..?

if any one could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

i dont however know how your 440 would be against it

but i hope ur 500 is as fast as mine is

2 carb's beats a single every time. And remember there is no replacement for displacement. the 500 will eat the 440 every time.
