zr would be faster because the pantera is a made for 2 people and its geard lower. and the zr is made for speed.
but if you really want to no, you and chris can race this winter.

Are you sure that ZR is a 440 fan cooled bored to a 600? I know Arctic Cat never made a 600 Fan- or Air-cooled engine. Even doing a 440 to a 600 is a pain and I doubt it can be done. And a Fan-cool will certainly not have a EFI system at all.

thanks for calling me a moron. see here's the story. i thought it was liquid cooled but luski09 said that he checked it over and didn't find a radiator. so he thought it was air cooled. and i said that there is no way it could be air cooled so i said maybe its fan cooled.

the radiator is under the sled pretty much, its in the tonell, so when ur driving snow from the track kicks up and hits the radiator and cools it....wow....

Yeah it is deffinately a liquid cooled zr600 and the zr will win. There arent radiators that you two were probably looking for, they are called heat exchangers, they run along the running boards or underneath the tunnel.

ya after i posted that i looked on line and found those heat exchangers that go under the sled.
i had not see those before *mostly because i deal with older speds that are mostly air cooled*
thanks all for clearing up the misconceptions!

The Ltd has stiffer suspension with the piggyback resevoirs on the shocks and the dial on the handlebars.

the Zr would beat the 580 with out a problem, zr is more of a getty up sled rather than a trail sled like ure 580 is

First of all, Arctic cat does not or has never made a 600 fan. (at least not in the last 10 years or so) So if the ZR is a liquid it will smoke the 580 out of the hole and all the way through to top end. Especially if the 580 is a pantera because they are trail machines. Finally, If you want to know if the Zr is a liquid and u cant find the heat exchanger, the easiest thing is to look under the hood and see if they sled has a reservoir for cooling fluid.
