04' F7 sno-pro ?'s
Hey, What's up guy's? I just piked up an F7 with 1300mi's.I am new to the Arctic Cat family. If you could tell me the plus and minus's of this sled that would be awesome. How is there reliability?I sat on the thing and was very comfortable. It was a toss up between the rx1.The cat just felt better. So i purchased it.It has the EFI and reverse.I'm just trying to educate myself on this beast before winter. So anything you could tell me about this sled would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A plus is that it is the fastest sled in its class.
A minus would be that its not sitting on my trailer

When i get one, i am going to get either the 05 seat or a boss seat, and 8'' risers.. Depending on how tall you are you may want to go this route too. The 05 seat is taller and firmer then the 04 seat and its a direct bolt on i believe. You can go all the way up to 8'' risers on your sled w/o cable extensions also, and these are a plus if you are tall too. Post some pics of the sled too!!
Also, if you dont mind sharing how much did you pic it up for? Im going to be getting one before the winter is done!

I Think It's a great sled, but a couple of negatives with the 04's is that there are only 2 rear idler wheels, and the 05's have 3. The 04's also don't have much support on the running board compared to the 05's. 1 more thing is that it has a chaincase. The 05's eliminated the use of a chaincase. Overall you'll be pretty happy with your sled. I love arctic cats.

F7manefi, I saw a fourth wheel kit for the 04' It would give you 4 idlers on the back of the track instead of the 2.What is the benefit of the extra wheels?

I believe the big reason was aesthetics, but Arctic-Cat also claimed it improved stability.
They're sweet sleds

Rip 'N Grip makes a very nice 4-wheel kit. Some people say it supports the very outside edge of the track more.
What else is cool, is you can get 8" polished billets for the FC....prolly looks like you're riding on dubs!!
You F'Cat owners should check out The Outdoor Shop in MA. Just Google 'em. They specialize in F'Cat stuff.
