I havent heard anything bad about them at all. Seem to be a great sled. What size are you getting?

I am getting a 500. I used to have a 99 500 ZL(good sled) but i need an upgrade
But i just dont know if this has any good power to it. The ditches in my area are pretty demanding and i need a sled i can throw around.
Anyone care to tell?

I bought an 05 sabercat last year. It's a 600 LX, (remote start, reverse, mirrors) and it's an awesome sled. So nimble and fast! I started it up the other day and it started on the second pull. Have to love efi.
I am actually willing to sell it because I'm starting up my own business and would like to have some extra cash. The sled was bought at the end of Januaray and has 365 miles on it and 22 hours of engine run time. Pretty much mint condition except for a few minor cratches on the side of the windshield. Get back at me with some offers if you're interested mkilens@hotmail.com. I live in South/Central, NH. Oh, and some pictures can be found here http://public.fotki.com/mkilens/my_new_snowmobile/.
See yaaa Bye

Uh, I think he lives near South/Central NH.
NH doesn't stand for "No Hope".

a 600 should have enough power. usually it's all you need, unles you are doing like crazy mountain riding or something.

The 600 is plenty fast. I got mine up too 102 last winter and it still had more left. The sales person who sold me the sled claimed that it could go close to 114.

The 500 Sabercats are single carb, hence the low HP figure!

The sabercat 500 has dual carbs. The reason it has the lower Hp and not the same as the F5 is because of the exhaust.
