info needed! 1996 ZRT 800
looking for info on the front end set up of a 1996 ZRT 800. My friend owns this sled and wants to know if the cam arm can be removed from the linkage bar, rotated down, and replaced to lower the suspension arms which would raise the front of the sled? I probably do not have the part name terminollogy correct. My photo was too large for the forum, so I could not include it.
THANKS
DUSTY

You can resize you r photo. 600x600 is the biggest you can put on here. As for the other item I have no idea. Not familiar with AC.
By the way, welcome to the forum.

I believe it is part of the sway bar assembly, but my buddy is wondering if it will lift the front suspension if he removes the cam/arm , rotates it down, and replaces it.

it wont raise it any, thw most it will do is buck you off, taking off the sway bar is usualy the first thing people do with a conventional chasis like the zrt or zr.

that looks to be part of the sway bar assy. I'm not familiar with AC, so I can't tell you to just remove it. From the looks of you pic, it doesn't look like it does anything. I found this link for you. It has the parts diagram for your sled. I hope this will help

If you plan on trail riding this sled DO NOT REMOVE IT ! Unless you want allot of inside ski lift and sway in your front. This bar connects the left and right side much like a coupled rear suspention does front to rear. If you remove it on a hard corner the side with the most weight (outside ski) will sag too much and create inside ski lift!! You do not want this !!!!
