Why no aftermarket for the F-5?

I've been hoping to work out a deal, with the wife and my Cat dealer for either a leftover or an 06 F-5 Firecat. The only thing I don't understand is why it seems like there are no or not many aftermarket parts for this sled. Like when I looked at pipes, it's F-6 and F-7. Same with other performance related parts. Anybody know why?

Well like the Black Magic site, I just got looking around there and like for the top end kit. They have it for the F-6/F-7 but nothing there for an F-5. Maybe everybody is going the E.F.I. route? Check that out, you'll see what I mean.

D&D is your best bet for motors.

how much power do you want, you can either get a 715 or a 720. these kits are nice cuz you use your small block case.

the 715 is 2599
the 720 is 2999

both come with every thing + twin pipes.

Speedwerx really only has a 780 but that is a race specfic engnie.

Yep, I checked out D&D. They do have some stuff there. I'm still looking for an F-5 for next season, but those Z-570's don't look bad either. That Ski-Doo MX Z 550X looks really cool! but I just checked on an 06 and he wants $6000. I think their about 60 or 70 horse and I just got an on-line quote in Minn. for a new 05 Firecat for $5500. advertised 105 horsepower. So now I don't know what to do.
