Angry 1999 powder special 600efi "bogging out"

I have a "1999 powder special 600 EFI" I just bought and have never owned an arctic cat before. It starts up fine on second pull and idles perfect.
When I take off with it, it will randomly just bogg out and then pick back up again. It seems like it does it more consistently at mid range throttle or rpm's. If you feather the throttle it will pick back up and run ok for a while and then repeat the "bogg" again. At full throttle it seems to be OK.
It seems like it uses a lot of fuel and I have also checked the plugs after and the are pretty wet.
I am leaning towards the fuel preasure regulator but do not want to just replace and then find out the $250.00 regulator is not bad. Can the regulator be diagnossed by a dealer without just replacing?

Any ideas? Please help!!!

Welcome to the Snow Show!
Yep sounds like a fuel presure regulator! To test put a T in the presure side along with a gauge. Presure should be 36 psi! I make up an adjustable fuel presure regulator complete with gauge!
