1973 Arctic Cat Lynx 292

I am going to race this sled. It is in very good condition all except for the taillights and the headlights. I don't know much about electrical so I need help on what to test and what I need cause I need lights for the race1973 Arctic Cat Lynx 292-imageuploadedbysm-free1357598169.159609.jpg

Start with the Voltage regulator, by the chain case. About a 2" square with wires comeing out!
