1980 jag 3000 FA flywheel removal/no spark

I am not getting any spark on my ole jag and have noticed my brown wire that is coming out of the flywheel housing has disengrated.
I am going to try and pull the flywheel to get a look at whats going on and repair it if possible, but I wanted to know if I needed a special tool to pull the flywheel and if so where could I obtain one. The sled is an hour away from where I live and would like to find out before I make the drive.
At help would be great thanks

That brown wire is the kill/run wire, and is the spark issue likely! I believe it just had a ring connector on it and would go to ground? Or had a female bullet connector and went to the kills?

Ok that is what I was thinking/hoping.
I still need to pull the flywheel though right?
Any thoughts on removing that? I've looked in the manuals, they have said to use a flywheel puller but I cannot find the part number on any site or comparable tool anywhere...
Is there something I'm not finding?

One of the heavy duty harmonic balancer pullers will do the trick.

The harmonic puller Worked like a charm!
My brown wire on the Mage was all corroded so I replaced it.
I now have spark... But it's yellow.

Any thoughts on the yellow spark?

Did you also clean the ends of the coils and the magnets?

Yes I cleaned them so they were nice and shinny.

Check and clean the grounds for the external coils too along with all your wire connections/plug ins.

Also, verify the plug gap, it should only be a maximum of 0.018 [you can gap slightly smaller to improve spark jump if necessary] and a minimum of 0.015.
