I have a 97 zl440 all stock, but I seem to get stuck more then I should. It could be inexperience, but I was thinking I could get a track with bigger paddles on it to do better with powder. Thanks for the help in advance.

If you ride in deep powder a lot you might want to think about some rail extensions and a longer track. A set of wider skis wouldn't hurt either.

I wouldn't say I ride in deep powder alot, but when I do it is nice to not get stuck. I just was thinking I could get a used track to put on for a more all porpose track. I don't ever take it to the mountains, but SD does get quite a bit of snow.

Is it the short track [121"] or long track [136"]?
Either way, going to an 1.25" track will help a lot.

I would see about a 121 X 1 or 1.25! The original track on that 440 was likely a 5/8"!

I think it is the 121 5/8. So can someone direct me to a used track. What do you think about the extension? Is that something that would make a big difference?

A 121 X 1" will make a Huge difference!
