2000 ZL550 rear spring options

I'm helping my nephew get his sled preped for the season and it looks like he may need new rear springs. The sled is a 2000 ZL550 and I cant find that model in any after market listings. Are we going to have to buy OE ones at a cost of $85.00 CDN each? Any ideas? What are my options here?
OE part numbers are 1604-062 / 1604-063.

Are they already at the highest setting, are they bottoming out?
Have you checked the shock?

The springs are on the highest setting, I dont know if it's bottoming out, he just bought the sled and it hasnt been trail ridden yet. At this point I'm not 100% sure that the springs are shot but I'm fairly certain that the shock is toast.
When compared to my ZL500, the suspension seems to compress much easier and doesn't rebound all the way back up on it's own. For now, the plan is to pull the skid out and do a complete cleaning, greasing, inspection and replace bearings and shocks as required. I'll know more at that time but if the springs are no good, is OE the only option?

No, you can get after market.
Dennis Kirk and ShadeTree both list replacement springs.

Not doubting you but I can't find springs for this sled on either of those sites.
The Arctic Cat chart is limited to say the least. Maybe it was the search method I used?

I would simply get a set of ZR springs and Fox shocks! Try HCS and Arctic Chat, they both have a fairly active classified section!
