Tops out about 90-95. Bout 90hp. Not a bad little trail sled for the wife or kids! Best upgrade? Probable the D&D 720 Preditor kit!

My first sled was a 2000 ZR 600, it was an okay sled, good for me since it was my first official sled, I probably put about 500 miles on it and the engine blew, cost me $1,000 to get the thing back running, after that it ran great of course.

Remove the 4 bolts, then the 2 Torx bolts. Slide valve out and clean with brake cleaner and scotch bright!

You most likely will need new gaskets on those, so have them ready before you remove them.

As with any performance sled the center to center on the clutches is important for performance! 12.2" (12 1/4 works!) And belt width and tightness too!

Awesome. Does anyone got a picture of their secondary clutch? I'm wondering if mine is factory or after market. This is my first time working on sleds in the 2000's so I'm unaware if it is stock or not. It has a purple non on the end. And if anyone has any performance upgrade ideas I would appreciate it.

ADuck was from your area, Im about at I80 & I39!
That purble knob on the end could be a belt adjuster!
