1987 Arctic Cat Pantera Fuel Pump - Snowmobile Forum: Your #1 Snowmobile Forum

I am planning an rebuild of the engine on our L/C 440 Pantera form 1987 and I suspect the fuel pump may be an issue. I am unable to find rebuild kits or ones on the market. Was this pump used in other snowmobiles or is there a better pump I should install instead of rebuilding the Pantera one?

They use that same fuel pump on LOTS of other sleds. Yours is the round type correct? Rebuild kit for that should be cheap.

Yep mesure the diam! But take it out and dram a line down the side with a marker. Then remove the screws! Inspect the alum aroung the check valves! I've had alot of the older 85-89 pumps kinda disolve in that area! Rebuild kits are like $5 and new pumps are bout $25

So any round mikuni style will work? or do I need a specific diameter?

There are a coupla diam. But any complete pumps will work!
