1997 580 efi deluxe
Finally got everything else done on the sled I wanted to get done except one other thing. This sled never came from the factory with a tether installed. After watching you tube and seeing many accidents were the sled runs off into a tree I figure i better hook one up. This first sled I ever owned that didn't have one. So is there a after market kit or do I need to find an oem one from arctic cat to hook one up? I saw a few on ebay but have know idea if they work or not!

Any of the aftermarket ones will work, just make sure that it is for an "open to run" system.
Then it goes in series with the key switch.
