Air bleed screw, which way to turn?

Quick question on Mikuni air bleed screw adjustment... If the motor takes too long to come back to idle RPMs after running at higher RPM's, which way should I turn the screw, in or out?

In! But have you had the carbs off, apart and the jets out? Floss the pilot jet (up the tube)

Yes, I just finished with complete disassembly, cleaning and blowing out with compressed air, The sled is a 97 Puma 340 with single carb. This is my neighbors sled, he just bought it and I'm giving it a "going over" before the season. Thanks for the reply.

Like KC said. Usually, an idle that is slow to return indicates a lean condition. Going IN will richen the air/fuel a bit and should bring the idle down faster.
