1989 jag

i just purchased a 89 jag 440, fan cooled, i belive its call a jag afs, but not sure what the afs stands for.
i knew it had a leaned out pto cylinder when i got it, hence a smoking deal on it.
i want to replace the whole cylinder, but am having a hard time(impossible) finding 89 jag parts where i live.
So im wondering "all what years and models have a compatible cylinder?"
Thanks.

AFS Arctic front suspension! The First Gen! (truely the second if you count the Trail Cat)
Sinple send your cyl to US Chrome and they will send it back better than new!

any idea of the costs, does it affect piston/ring clearances in the bore?

Send a new piston with the scored cylinder, they should be able to set up the cylinder to work with the piston as well.

any ideas as to the compatable years/models of cylinders.
that might open up my local part searching a bit, before i consider shipping away parts.

Prob the most comon motor Cat used! The problem with getting a different jug is the porting! It's possible that someone has ported a cyl, or that yours have been?
