95 wildcat 700 efi timing problems

Hi I have a 95 wildcat efi 700 and it's got good spark and good compression but sounds like its out of time I'm wondering if it's an easy fix or no I've never messed with efi on sleds yet

More info needed.
Has the flywheel ever been off it?
Have you checked that the battery is in good condition and fully charged?

95 wildcat 700 timing problem

I pulled the flywheel off and see no visible damage the fuel pump runs when I turn the key on and the battery light comes on on the gauges when I pull it over it backfires and rips the recoil out of my hands

Could be reeds? Timing doesnt change, without removing the stator plate! How is the key for the crank? Or the pick up for the efi?

The key if fine that's the first thing I checked The pick up seems ok I don't really know how to check it but the efi module is not showing any codes

Well with that HIGH of compression, either someone has been into it or it is all carboned up? Since the season is over (for Me anyway) I would drain the anti and pull the heads and jugs!

Check the battery voltage. If it is below 11.5vdc, it can cause starting problems.
The pump will run like it is supposed to, but the ECU will not read the sensor inputs correctly and it will go into "limp mode".

Thanks for all the input I'm going to check the reeds and the battery was only at 10.9 volts so I got it on charge

I replace the battery with a lawn more! Do that and get back to us! Also perhaps get another tester and retest the compression!
