New 2005 570

Hey guys, I was wondering if you had any info on 2005 570's. I know they are good performers but is there anything to watch out for. Thanks, Liener

Friend has a 2004 Z570LX. Nice sled. It will almost do 100 (speedo reading). Pretty much bulletproof, just add gas and oil and go!

I have a 2005 440 LX it sits on the same frame as the 570. Just watch out for the LX they have a high windsheild that kinda sucks but is a quick fix. And i had problems with the ampage regulator it blew all my lights and my electiric start. dealer said they were having a couple problems with that. other then that i love it.

My first new sled was a 1996 Z440.I pounded the living daylights out of it for 6 years. The worst thing that ever happened was that a head stud broke and it blew the head gasket.(Repaired it for under 10 bucks)Other than that I replaced the wear bars a few times, and the rear shocks the last seaon I ran it

You should get a lot of running out of those 2 machines

i read a review on the new fan-cooled sleds in that size, ill try to find out what it was in. all i remember was that the polaris was the worst due to performance and metal skis.

Hi All,

Just bought a 2004 570 Mountain (136" track 1.250" lugs) I LOVE this sled... Outruns buddys Yamaha's until about 55 or so. Been in below zero and above freezing and it starts/runs fine in both. Simple and fun!!!

i've got a 2004 z570 and so does my buddy. there really nice sleds however his "muffed" a piston after just 600 miles according to the dealership. Burned a hole right down the middle of it... but what i don't understand is they siad they didn't have any idea on how it happened, we warm up the sleds, and it was a zero degree day when it happened and we had only been riding for 20 miles. Anyways hopefully mine will have better luck, and you 2!
