zr 600 vs. Firecat

Here is the deal, this year my dad will probally be getting himself a new F7 and be giving his 1998 ZR 600 to me. I know there is not a hole lot of competition between the two but how much better is the F7 that the ZR?

The way I hear alot of the f7's are running that 600 should give it a good run up to 80 or so?
