Question 1993 Thunder Cat Suspension

I need a little friendly advise...

A friend of mine has a 1993 Thundercat. We want to try to upgrade the suspension to, at least, a 1997 Fast Track suspension.

My question is will a newer suspension use the same bolt holes as the exsisting suspension within the tunnel???

If not, what fabrication necessary???

Will the Drive unit be the same???

Thanks!!!

97 has ETT. I would think it would have to be from a 96 or older.
