Question Arctic Cat ZL 600 Issue

I have a 99 ZL EFI arctic 600 and for the last few times during start up the machine won't start very easily. Once it gets going it sometimes boggs down at 5000 rpms or so. I shut the machine down and then start it back up and the issue seems to go away. Has anyone else expericned this or know how to fix it. I put new plugs in and fresh 93 gas.

Thanks
Mark

when it dies out is the choke on? if the choke is off try turning it on untill the rpms go up a bit then turn it back off, do if it keeps hapening keep doing this untill it will run without the choke.

its EFI, doesnt have a choke. sounds like a computer. next time when this happens have a socket ready to take the four bolts off that hold your computer in your airbox cover. there is a red light that will flash 1 - 5 times. count them to find the code for the problem. if it is not flashing, its not your EFI.

Artic cat had issues with the stators in their 1999 600's. Vin# 9915687 and lower had stator problems.
