Comet 108c to 108 exp on my 88 El Tigre? - Snowmobile Forum: Your #1 Snowmobile Forum

Pardon my ignorance, but can I replace the Comet 108C with a 108exp? I'll be moving my weights and spring onto it, if I can use this clutch. This is on an 88 ElTigre 440 Liquid

I think Comet recommends the 108EXP over the 102C on that sled anyways and they do use the same parts as well.

You're right. They recommend ONLY the 108 for that sled.

Actually 102 isn't mentioned in my post. The machine currently has a 108C, but I need to know if I can use the 108exp. Thanks for replying though

The 108C is no longer made. The EXP is the only one available now.

I kinda saw that after I posted. The 102 is the only other clutch near the specs for that sled from Comet but not recommended. Congrats on the find......
