ZR or F-cat
As most all of you know, I am in need of a newer sled badly! lol. I am working on my parents to buy me a "new" used sled. I really am going for an F5, or a ZR 500. I would like the F-cat but how do you like these two sleds? Can anyone help me out?

Firecat is lighter, quicker, and new technology. The ZR chassis (all though alot like it) is on its way out. The biggest problem with complaints for the Firecat is you have to learn how to ride it compared to the ZR's if you have been riding cat for a while. If you like to run the lakes and wide smooth trails get a ZR if you like to ditch bang and venture off trail get a Firecat.

Why are you going to sell it? Problems with it?? How fast have you had it going. I have a kid in my class that said his will carry the skis up to 50mph.. that true?

I'd like to get a used f-7 next year. I'm also trying to further my stock car racing career and need all the money i can get. Trust me, it wont break my heart if i dont sell it---------- i'll just have to work a little harder. The fastest i've had it was 92 mph speedo and thats all it had, but yeah, it pulls real hard till about 55-60.

my 570 is based on the ZR chassis/suspension, and I'd take an F5 over it in a millisecond, I doubt the 500LC (ZR) has that much more power than the 570...

F9 - I think you will be keeping your sled. You can buy 03 F7s for that price.
G-Force - The ZR500 has about 30HP more than you 570.
