help with problem... wat is it???

hey everyone. We just got some snow here in rhinelander wisconsin about 2 weeks ago and i thought id bring my 2003 firecat f5 out , and when i started it up it bogged at first. i got it started again and let it sit there and warm up for about 10- 15 mins and then jumped on and it seemed really boggy at first and not that much power so i took it up to a field and it topped out at 67mph... which isnt right of course... so i took it home and parked it. Last year it started to act up at the end of the year and i started running valvoline 2 stroke oil in it because the place i buy my arctic cat synthetic oil from was closed. I kno the firecat has the APV vavles and arctic cat says u should run arctic cat synthetic which i did usually. But do u guys think that that valvoline oil plugged up my APV valves??? I heard that could be the problem. I checked for compression and it has compression and i got new spark plugs for it but it still dont have the power... so what do u think is wrong guys??? PLease ur help would be really helpful!!! thanks everyone and have a great day!

Sounds like that could be the problem. What do the plugs look like when you take them out? Black and oily? Just one side? Give us a little more to go on, and welcome to the forums!

Well both spark plugs were pretty black. And no it was empty when i put it in for storage. I drove it today and it seemed to have the power, but it did bog here and there and does not sound right. Plus when i was pulling on the 2 front skies, to put it back in garage it seemed like the clutch had no tension on it becuase i could pull the sled very easily with the track on the ground. I think i might just take it to the local snowmobile shop and let them check it out. well thanks for all the answers back and ill be on later to see what u guys say back. thanks have a great day bye.

The plugs should be a dry, dark brown. It may just need to be ridden a little more to get right. I can pull my Doo with the track on the ground also. I wouldn't worry about it, as long as it's DRIVING well.
