Stock on stock the F7 will win.
With minor clutch work on the Rev 800 it will hang with a stock F7.

2005 is the fastest year of the firecat. So I would put my money on the firecat considering I beat rev 800's with my pro-x 700 and I never beat a firecat.

dont think so

Well the rev 800 that you were racing must have been hooked to a post cause I have never been beaten by any 700 including SRX's which are really fast, the fire cat in 03 was very fast depending on the sled I have beaten them and they have beaten me(i used to have an 03 rev 800) now I have an 05 800 ho and from the little bit I have ridden it feels faster dont forget the skidoos timing is retarded for the first 8 hours of operation for breakin and you loose about 10 hp so make sure you have riddin it long enough before you race for real... thats my take it should be pretty close after the breakin period

firecat won both times right from the line, maybe the rev didnt hook up well or something though.

Sorry rev800 but it happened. It was a 2003 so maybe its slower then your sled. Out of the 800 class the rev was the slowest in 2003 beaten by both cat and polaris and polaris's 700 beat the rev 800 in the shootout and I have done it personally. So maybe 2005 will be a little better for you!!!

You won't even know that the Rev is riding with you. Your buddy will get very familiar with your tail light. He'll wish that he had bought an F7 too.

Where are you riding and how much snow do you have? One last question: if you have snow why are you on the computor?

Not to bash anyone sled cause that 800 rev rides better then any polaris,arctic-cat, or yamaha BUT the 800 rev doesn't have it like the other big sleds, well it hasn't it the past 2 yrs not sure about this year.

If you read my original post

If you read my original post, youll notice that I asked becuase we had no snow. I live in mid michigan, and all we got this weekend is 50 degrees and rain. I have a place in Paradise that we stay at and hit the northern trails but they are gettin rain themselfs this weekend. From what i hear from everyone is that my f7 will beat the rev in the race but on the trails he will out preform me. I look forward to g ettin back my results. I be doing the snow dance every night befor bed.

Who is a better rider, you or your buddy? The rider's skill will determine which sled will do better. I didn't think that the 800 Rev was much faster than the 600 Rev.

pro x 800

Pro x I smoked my buddy on his pro x 800 with pipes and it was clutched , I also beat his other friend on his pro x 800 and I had an 03 rev 800 x so I dont know what 700 you have but sounds like it is the fastest polaris in the world cause the 700's that polaris put out back in 98 were the fastest 700's out there hands down then the new skidoo motors with cylinder reed induction came out and started smokin... also the srx 700's cranked. are you runnin an XCR 700 tripple?

WOW, relax dude. First off the 2002 700 liberty beat every 800 in the shootout in oldforge, look it up, secondly I was just giving my opinion, sorry you dont like it but I also said that your sled probably rides better then the firecat but wont beat it and I assume I was right on that, and for me beating the 2003 rev 800 I did, dont care if you believe me or not, and for your buddies sleds I dont know what year they are but mines an 03, 04 was a crap year and polaris's 700 run right with the 800 and any moron can ride in a straight line its on the trails that count!!

This past winter a group of us was at a private airport. There was a MXZ800,a Blair Morgan Rev, a ZR600 and a 600XCR. After three races the 600XCR won them all. Now the guy on the Polaris only weighed 140lbs. The other riders weighed over 200lbs. The guy on the MXZ800 use to race for 20 years. He stated that for every 10lbs is a sleds length in 600 ft. Right there would of put the polaris about even with the the others. Also last year I was at the local sled drags and the stock F7 was the fastest of all stock sleds in the 500' radar runs. It was funny listening to all the guys talk about how fast their sleds were until they seen the radar results. The F7 which was the fastest went 70mph in 500'.
