do f7's have det stuff on em?

I was just wondering if the f7's had all that det crap on em?

also, do 94-95 ext's have it? thanks a ton guys

it's decompression stuff...like on polaris' they have decompression holes in the cylinders...

Makes 'em easier to pull over. Releases a little compression so they're easier to crank, then restores full compression once it's running.

Cats don't have DET. That is a Polaris system for detecting detonation. It uses a knock sensor on the bottom side of the head to sense pinging in the engine. It will retard the timing until the detonation stops to keep from melting down pistons.
