crank seal

1996 jag 440 liquid. the p.t.o. side seal is loose and floping around on the shaft behind the clutch. if i remove the clutch can i replace the seal or does the engine need to come apart? thanks for any help.

Replace it on the sled, be sure to put some grease on the inside of the wiper so it slides on easily, then just tap it into place.
