The ECU is not bad...It operates as it should. I have speculated that the CDI is bad becuase I still do not have spark...However, the Fuel pump and indicator light work correctly. (Stator is new too) So, after bypassing all of the kills...the only two things left are the CDI and Coil...The coil checked out fine...But according to the Arctic Cat dealer, the only way to check/test a CDI is with another sled...I have discovered that a CDI for a 1998 Pantera 580EFI is hard to come by...the dealer said that I have to have one specific to the sled. So, that is where I am at.
Thanks for the reply.

No luck there either....
I did however find out that there are 3 models that use the same CDI
- 98 EXT 580
- 98 EXT EFI DLX
- 98 Pantera 580 EFI
