Clutch Setup 1999 Zl 600

I have the opportunity to purchase a newer but uses Comet clutch and also the secondary with a purple Helix for a great deal. Will this make any differance in the performance of my sled or does it all depend on the springs that are in them. The clutch set up now i beleive is all original.

Yes, changing the spring and weights is how you change the engagement rpm and peak rpm.
Then you change or adjust the secondary to bring the peak back to the proper range.
Changing the Helix in the secondary will also change the shift out characteristics.
