1999 AC ZR800 Torque Specs Chain Case

Hey guys I have two questions:

1) Wht is the Torque spec for the Lower Shaft nut in the chaincase?

2) what is the procedure for re-installing the shaft bearing on the left side of the shaft. the one behind the clutch with the grease fitting near at the speedo cable mount.

I have the shaft out I have all the parts, and everything else is smooth just need a little help here

Thanks
Pics would be great

I would have to check on the torque specs in my manuals, but as for the installation of the bearing, it really is fairly straigh forward.

Assuming that the chain case is disassembled (chain removed, lower gear removed, bearing holder removed, and bearing removed), and the snow mobile is tipped on its side, place the inner bearing holder onto the shaft on the spedo side, place the bearing on the shaft, and place the outer bearing holder onto the shaft. Start all three of the carriage bolts into the holder (from the drive cog side), slide the drive shaft through the track and into the lower bearing hole of the chain case.

Make sure that the square pin is in the spedo side of the drive shaft. A second set of hands is more that just a little helpful at this point. Lift the drive shaft so that the carriage bolts slide through the holes for the spedo housing. Have the second person put the spedo gear drive onto the three carriage bolts with the threaded socket facing he front of the sled, and start the polynuts onto the carriage bolts. Be careful when putting on the spedo gear drive so as not to damage the square drive pin.

Tourqe the three polynuts tight, and reassemble the chain case. You may need to use a pry bar to lift the drive shaft so that the carriage bolt will be all the way through the upper holes. Just use lite pressure against the first drive cog (chain case side) and the tunnel.
