Need your input on a sled

Hey guys new to the forum but I have decided i am purchasing an arctic cat. the one I am going to go see tomorrow is a 1995 arctic cat ZRT 800. It has 4053 miles and has a fully rebuild motor last season. Does anyone have any feedback on this sled and what should I be looking for when I go see it?. As well I will be checking the compression, so does anyone know the proper compression numbers for this sled? any help would be great thanks alot!!!

Compression should come in at least 100 and each cylinder should be within 10% of each other. The ZRTs are triples and pretty damn quick ones too! I think you will be pleased. Nothing really wrong with the sled, just know that triples foul spark plugs very easily.

Also check cosmetics, make sure it doesn't look horrible and that it was well taken care of. Start it and give it a quick test run if possible. Check the carbides and hyfax, too. The track should also be in good condition, and if it is studded it'll be an added bonus. Good luck with your purchase!

thanks alot, im really hoping this sled lines up to what he has said it to be or I will be really let down I am all excited about it haha, I don't think I can take it for much of a test run as there is no snow here but I figured for the price of $1600 I can't go wrong really.

No need for a different thread! With a rebuilt motor at WOT it should be atleast 125#!
Double chech that the speedo works! And look at the hyfax to see if there is a thin spot?
