Surely not flaming you, but you might get an answer if you would put the year and model of sled your asking the question about.

Hey Cat, I'm new to snowmobiling, I know very little about them, but I do belong to 3 diesel truck forums and it's a continual problem if we don't know what vehicle the questioner is talking about. I would suggest you put your sled in your signature.

Sorry, mean't this to be a PM. Don't know how to delete it here.

OK all cats use a simple cable likely 34"! You could get a brake or clutch cable that is longer, mod the end to fit your lever and then use a cable nut on the other!
Doing a hydro converssion would be GREAT, but would likely need to switch from a 4 bolt chain case to the newer 6 bolt to do it!

I bet you could use a Polaris cable, or like wise... I was thinking a bike cable but I don't think that is beefy enough.

Check on Snowest.com, most of them are deep snow riders and know where to find this stuff.
