02 zr600 idleing high??

hey guys,hope everyone is doing good! i still have a problem from last year? that no one could seem to answer?? ok just to get this out of the way, i checked cables, carb adjustments,checked for air leaks everything is right! what it is doing is it idles high and the apv valves keep opening and closing? if i unplug the tps on the carbs it idles fine and the valves stop opening and only open when i give it gas? it runs fine with out the tps plugged in?idles perfect as soon as i plug tps in it idles right up to 2500-3000 again? any help would be greatly appreciated! i am about ready to take it to the stealer! please help!!

Ok the throtel possioning sensor is out of adjustment, or bad (would show a code!) Getting it back is a PITA!

Just leave the tps unplugged. It is not really needed.

hey rj and kc thanks for replying, this is a carb sled so there are no codes to check? if i leave it unpluged it doesent run right up in the higher revs? do you know what the tps does on the carb models? i mean i know it tells the cdi what the throttle is doing but why?? dk any help would be great do you think it is faulty? any way to test these? thanx!

yeah i was thinking that but it tells me not to mess with it everywhere i look unless i have a tps tool to adjust it? you really think i could like, just mark where it is now and then turn it to see what happens? im all for that if i wont mess anything up? thanx for the help kc!
