a rubber hammer and just work it off, some PB Blaster will help too.

Well here are my turnouts. The actual wheel popped off the bearing, and the bearing is still stuck on there. When I first tried, WD-40 didn't work, then I tried the PB blaster, and it also didn't work. I gave both the sprays a good amount of working time, and the bearing is still stuck on there. Same with the other side, but luckily the wheel itself didn't pop off...
Help will still be greatly appreciated.

K now that the wheel is of, a gear puller and a long punch will remove it! When you put it back be sure which way the wheel goes on! And drive it on with the long punch and only drive on the inner part or the bearing!

Cat makes a special tool to remove the bearing. When I removed mine, I used brute force to remove (was replacing the bearings) and used a large deep socket to tap the wheel/bearing back into place. If you use some emery cloth to smooth the shaft, it will go on a bit easier, along with the PB Blaster RJ suggested. I have also used a gear puller, but the puller pulls on the outer race of the bearing, and if it's stuck, will damage the bearing. I hate those dang things, unless you get the tool (probably spendy) they are a PITA!

Those are a cam lock.
You loosen the set screw and then use a punch to unlock the cam by turning it on the shaft. Once it is unlocked, the bearing should just slide off.

Hmm, I think I'm going to go look at a local store called princess auto, and see what they have for a bearing puller.. Would any bearing puller work for a job like that?

Yep, 3 or 4 jaw puller will do.

Yep any will work as long as the arms are long enough to reach! No they are not cam locks like the drive shaft!

JheLrey: Nope, the bearing is bigger around then the wrap hole of the spring. I was kinda hoping that it would have just slid over the bearing. Sadly enough, it doesn't. -_-
Yeah, I'm going to go to princess auto and pick up a jaw puller. They are about 15 dollars there. Cheaper then the other places i looked that was in the Winnipeg area.

Well, I got everything off.. I put the torsion springs on and the new shock. Everything was going as planned. Now I hit another snag. Putting the dang idler wheels on. I have been hammering and hammering (with a rubber mallet of course) and I got it about half way on.
Now they wont move a single CM. I thought maybe they were on the whole way, but they aren't. They stick out about an inch more then the other idlers. Another thing is when I'm hammering it, the Snap ring, or C-ring keeps popping out.
They are both in good condition, brand new. Any ideas of how to get them on easier? I have also tried using all purpose automotive grease to give it a bit more slide, still nothing.

use a sleeve (pipe or socket) to drive against the inner race to push the bearing on.

Pipe trick worked, I wish I would have thought of that earlier... Well got the skid back together, and all is well. We also got the skid into the track, now we just have to bolt the skid back to the tunnel, and adjust the track.
Will post outcome, and some pictures of the sled.
