Hey, i may have not of gotten a polaris.. but ive been ridin one for 5-6 years and its been 100% problem free.... I still love polaris and its way up there on my list of favorite companies... But i decided to try a cat.. I will admit that ACs look cooler then most polaris" IMO

I like the change of heart! I think cats and Polaris have the best looking snowmobiles. The Edges look so sharp and so do the ZR chassis. Ski-Doos look pretty good too, I especially like the 01 MXZ. Arctic Cat still takes the cake! And btw we'll always still know you as Polaris rider, even though you know you'll be on a cat from now on! Maybe I should make an arctic cat rider account...

Well i started er up.. and she took 2 pulls, but when it started, it made a loud ass pop sound.. what could that of been? Also, only the RPM gauge lid up, not the speedo, does that mean the speedo doesnt work? Probably a bad bearing?

Backfire. Did you let it idle before you shut it off?

Umm could just be the backlight is out on the speedo. If possible lift the back up on the sled, start it and spin the track for a short time. The speedo should start moving.

What could cause the backfire? Did it just backfire because its jetted for cold temps and its warmer out? And i let it idle for about 10 secs before shuttin her off.. Is that ok? And illl get the speedo looked at tmrw

That's exactly right, you're supposedly not supposed to start your sled to much in warm weather... never gave me a problem but they will backfire from time to time in the heat.

And I know you like poos better, I'm just picking on ya :P.

Cats will always have the best looking sleds between the ZRs and the firecat series but poos are definitely up there with them.

As for doos, I like the look of the formula series, no matter what people say about em :P. And the renegades are pretty cool too.

Agreed I love the look of my Crossfire! And I hope I didn't ruin my sled I've started it about 5 times for 10 seconds each since I got it.

Yes it could mean that. If so, could you sue the previous owner or something?

Just I don't think that the sled went 5,000 miles without the speedo working.
