alright guys, i no im prly gettin annoying by now, but this is the first sled i ever payed for... and i started it again, and lifted the back end, punched the throttle, and the speedo sat for a minute, then climbed.. so it was just a little stuck from sitting i guess... So im VERY happy about that, also i replaced the speedo light, so now it lights up... after the 2 new idlers, shes snow ready! So afterall, the guy didnt screw me in any means.. Im very happy with the sled.. i tend to just freak out at times lol..

Don't worry if he did or didn't. You bought an awesome sled. You'll likely find more problems down the road....fix it and move on. Let's just say I wish I had yours.

I just bought a sled for $1800 which was exactly book value and I spent $250 at the shop for a belt, oil, sliders etc. I'd think he would just say, "You looked at it before you bought it!"

Wow PR. Talk about some ups and downs! Sounds like you learned a valuable lesson. I bought a 98 machz and had the same issues. Aside from it almost killing me it almost broke the bank. I have a more modest sled now. There is nothing like the fear of WTF did I just buy? and being angry at the guy you bought it from is the wrong way to go. We all learn from our experiences and move on. You will enjoy the hell out of your sled this winter and like that guy with the orange pussy cat says "PRAY FOR SNOW!

Yeah I was talking about your sled. I used to be a doo rider.... Remember, lesson learned. I now ride polaris and I will never go back to a ski doo. well unless someone gives me one.

Make sure you post pictures soon; I want to see the progress! And snowchecked, at least you're staying American.
