Opinions on this sled please!!!
Hey guys I just registered on this forum about 2 minutes ago. I am in need of some opinons on this sled I might pick up very shortly and just wanted to hear what you guys had to say about it. I want to hear the good and bad if there is any.
It's a 2000 Artic Cat ZL 600 SS EFI sled. I've heard good things about them and this seems to be a pretty reasonable price to me. I live in Canada so the price is in Canadian. It looks to me as if it's in near perfect condition?

Thanks guys, sounding good. Is there any reasons in particular that these are good sleds?

The guy says he only ever replaced a bearing the front drive sprocket, other than that - nothing. He also mentioned he can start it up in under 3 pulls. I asked for more pictures before I drive 2 hours to go look at it in person. Is $2000 a decent price for this? I also found out the guy who owns it is a 'young' driver, usually not a good sign.

Nothing ever changed except an axle bearing? 5500km = 3400 miles- that 600 should have new pistons put in. I guarantee you the skirt clearance is beyond spec if the pistons are factory original.
Jerry.

My Opinion
Unless your an expirenced sledder and fairly big ( strong ) the ZRT is too big of a TURD to bother with .There will be lots of ZL's and ZR's coming on Kijiji soon . Wait it out.
