Low compression, good running?

Well I just rebuilt my zl after getting it with a blown engine(jan of this year). The strange thing is Im getting 95 on both cylinders and it runs great. My question is there any way to improve compression? Or should I just leave it since it runs good? I appreciate the help.

It will prob. increase as you run it, breaking it in more.

Tried a different tester yet? Could be the tester itself.

I've thought about that when I get another tester I'll check over it.

Sounds like that may be the issue! closed would read bout that and WOT should be bout 125-130! Yes there are lots of things that can and perhaps should have been done with that motor? How many miles? Why did it go down? Did you replace the seals? Did you atleast cut the transfere ports? Did you radious the ports? PM me and I'll go threw what all can be done! I was hoping to have a porting seminar, but I lost my roof on my shop to a tornado a coupla weeks ago!!!

You'd know if the compression was low by it being hard to start, no power, etc.

Then your meter is either no good, or you did not test correctly.
