94' Jag 440-Summer Project

Well we have a Jag that is doing nothing but sitting in the field. This is our lion hunting machine and i figured i would get it going again. It has 5000 miles on it, rip cord is missing, brakes are shot, and im going to go through everything else to get it running like new...ish. I was wondering if i should get new pads and fluid for the brakes and any other help will be great.

Start with a good cleaning including the carbs! The brakes may just be out of adjustment!

Well im pretty close to finished with it! I've been working on it the last week and finally got it going. But then i quickly realized oil was leaking out of the pto side when it was idleing. She had a broken gasket. Took heads off and going to get some new ones soon. Carbs weren't to dirty for been sitting in the field for 2 years. Cleaned the clutches also. Now all that is left is to get 2 new bolts for the front of the ski skins. Then she'll be ready for lions! (btw the deal was with my brothers friend, if i got it going i could have it)
