you better get a 4stroke first, unless you wanna buy a new engine every other week.

He runs a mach 800, has not melted it "YET". Apparently the weak link in the sled is the crank. Anyway, Santa said last night that if a turbo shows up under the tree, it's the dog house for me.... Dan

Hey! im replying to your comment on the 120 top F7 speed. sorry to burst your bubble pal but i have one and i just did some moderite tuning to the carbs and it will go 131-132 all day. so mabe next time you should check for yourself before goin and runnin your mouth off like that pal. Rejet it and adjust your needles and there all set!

hey cat_man, dont be a dick, theres not a whole lot of modded sleds out there that will "go 131-132 all day", firecat21's comments are alot more accurate. yeah, they are very fast, but i highly doubt they will do over 130 stock. also, f-cat21 said that it wasnt a very big lake.

I'm an arctic-cat guy and i think an F5 will break 100mph (speedo)
Though I think just about all 600cc sport sleds will beat an F5
Also....I think it's safe to say that at 100mph the speedo's are probably optimistic by at least 5mph....

arctic_cat_man, maybe you should actually READ the post before you blow your load your keyboard. Chill out he was defending the F-7!

top speed will depend on conditions.
Lasy year on the lake best I did was high 90's at about 20 F.
Last week I got 115 MPH at -15 F. these are speedo readings mind you. Colder it is better they will run.

i don't know where you live but here in newengland you can't find too many big fields. oh yeah my firecat is just fine and i haven't heard of any stock f7 doing 130. maybe you should check and see if you got the kilometers mixed up with the mph.

no g-force, it WON'T do 130 ANYtime, ANYwhere. even the guys who come on here and say that their sleds are the fastest in the land arent saying that they're doing 130 mph. 120-123 stock, tops.

How many people on this board have actually gone a TRUE 100+ mph(and im not talkin on a lake)? Anybody can hold a sled wide open on a lake, it takes a real set to hold one open down a back road. Like my signiture says LETS GET IT ON!!!!!!!!
