1980 Arctic Cat Panther Carb Issue

I have a 1980 Arctic Cat Panther that I am beginning to work on - does anyone know a fix for the rotted out brass tube the runs inside the emulsion tube (it connects the main jet to the top of the carb)? I'm not 100% familiar with this type of carb but I was told by the dealer that this issue was common - he said the tube fuses to the main jet and either corrodes or snaps when the main is unscrewed. Any tips for a fix? I posted this in the vintage forum and did not get any ideas - as a follow up I did find a piece of brass tubing from my local hardware store and I am going to attempt to make a new tube - any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Remove the main jet and then push the needle jet out the top! There will be a letter and number on it (Q-4!) Just get another, I have a bunch of the different sizes!

are you saying the whole emulsion tube is available (with the brass tube inside?) - and are talking about the same carb - I have the entire tube out (runs from the float bowl all the way to the top of the carb) - if I can get the entire unit, where do you recommend that has them? thanks!

the part I am referencing is #17 on the pic (for a 1980 panther - look at the carb pic...)
