First day with the F7

Well after not riding for almost 2.5 years, I'd just like to start off by saying....Ouch. Forgot I had those muscles.
The F7 is a great machine. My friend and I went up to Vermont Saturday morning and rode about 8hrs. I got 100 miles my first day. The F7 just ate up the trails.
My friend has a new Ski-doo MXZ 600. He could not believe how quickly I was taking turns and flying down trails.
We both have spiked tracks, but I don't have reverse, yet. He does.
My last sled was a 580 ZR EFI, also with a spiked track. I can definitely say that the F7 well outperforms my old ZR.
Hopefully, I'll have pics up soon. Let the good times snow.

Heh...

I would expect you would find a huge difference between a 580 Zr and an F7. The oldest Zr's were a pretty bulky machine. I have not had the oppurtunity to ride a firecat as of yet, but the sled at the top of my wish list is the F5 Firecat.

Happy to hear you are having a great time on your new machine. 8 Hrs without any warmup can be pretty hard on the bones... my guess is you are not exactly running up and down stairs these days.

I would love to see some pics in the future!
