Wait till it gets colder out and then check it out. Also check the color of the plugs to make sure there golden brown.

There is not much you can do to stop it. It can also be condansation mixed with sooth from the exaust. Like I said wait till it gets a little colder and see how it runs then. If your plugs are still black after a good run in cold conditions you could be running to rich in oil.

Chech the oil cable setting? At wide open there are lines that should line up! The other thing to check later is the oil consumpsion! 12.5 galons of gas to 1 qt oil is 50-1! When the oil pump goes bad they go full rich! Not saying that is the prob but keep that in mind, if when it gets cold you can't get it to rev out and it loads up???

It's pretty normal for the engine to smoke at idle, especially in the summer. 2-stroke oil is not very combustible, and will go through the crankcase/cylinders without being 100% burned, especially when the engine isn't working and there is low exhaust velocity. Then the oil, especially at idle, coats the inside of the pipe and can, next time you start it, the exhaust causes even more to migrate to the exhaust pipe, causing the drip.

When it finally snows, top off the oil to the top, take a ride, fill the tank and measure the amount of oil you have used. If it's a lot more than 40:1 to 50:1, like KC stated, the oil pump may be bad. Usually if they are that bad, plugs get fouled big time and you won't be able to finish a day without changing at least one.

Black and dry plugs would indicate a rich mixture, which is perfectly normal when you are running the sled in the summer.

I don't even try to do any tuning in the summer, it's too hit and miss. You have to have cold conditions to make sure your jetting is set properly. I hate waiting, but sometimes that is what you have to do!

Dan, it's an EFI!
Temp will not have as much bearing on this situation.
I would however check that the oil pump is functioning properly.

You still haven't generated enough heat into the engine & pipe to blow all the condensation out!! Don't be so impatient, these things aren't meant to cold idle all the time!! After everything gets warmed up good, those issues will disappear!!

I can tell you this, I started my '96 580 EFI last night and within a minute you could not see the end of the garage and I had to get out of there for a good 5 minutes till the smoke cleared. These sleds smoke alot especialy after not being fired up for a period of time or after multiple starts of short durations.

I agree that an EFI will compensate for the air/fuel mixture, even in the summer temps. But, temp in this case has a lot to do with it. The pipe temperature isn't hot enough to keep the oil suspended in the exhaust, so it condenses on the pipe and then drips out the exhaust. In the summer, we can't run 'em up to "real" operating temps, EFI or carb, especially at idle. Idle EGTS run in the 500-600 range, WOT EGTS are 1000-1250. At idle the pipe never gets hot enough to "burn out" the oil. My EFI sled and my carb sleds all drip oil all summer long and smoke big time. It goes away when I can get out on the snow.

IDK, mine does not drip any after it gets hot enough that I can not put my hand on the pipes, even at idle.

I started my sled, my Bro's and the "Wife's" sled last night. They were all running at once. You could not see into the garage except for the headlights. You would swear the garage was on fire.
