You have the right puller to start off with? A regular steering wheel puller with the proper fixings is what you need. Also, once its on and there is tension on the puller/ flywheel, give a light tap to the bolt going down to the crankshaft, might need a litle more then a tap but you dont want to be to agressive and ruin anything.

A steering wheel puller will not cut it- you need to use a harmonic balancer puller or the brand specific flywheel puller.

i got the right puller, and heated it, WD-40, and a couple small taps, with no results.

crank on it as hard as you can and give it a couple of solid wacks with a good flat hammer that has a little weight to it. make sure you square up on the bolt so you don't damage anything by hitting off center. repeat the process. it will break loose.

Cant stress this enough, Make sure its the right 3 both puller, and each and every Bolt is threaded in the EXACT same amount. (to do this I used a little duct tape on the bolts before threading them in, put the tape around the bolt about 1/4 inch up, (will differ depending on flywheel)

Also make sure the retaining Nut is removed, and loosly threaded back onto the shaft till its just flush (prevents the wheel from flying off)

Without a compressor, it will take a few turns, and WHACK, turns and WHACK each turn will not move to much. Then a solid firm whack with a Rubber mallet on the bolt.

Its a lot easier with a compressor..

Good Luck.
