I'm looking to get rid of the '01 Z440 and replace it with something new, or newer. My daughter will be big enough to ride behind me seeing all we did was smack helmets all last year. I'm going to keep the ZR600EFI and let me wife use it.

So what should i get? 4 stroke? 2 stroke? how much are these new things out of the store? and what month is the best ot buy? seeing I want my daughter to ride behind me, I was thinking of a 2up, but I really would like to be able to have a seat I can take off an put on for when she doesnt ride with me. I ride mostly trails and ditches, nothing major for SE MN. I like a little spunk, and my 600 did a great job...anything bigger, maybe, but the 600 was just fine.

Thoughts?

Most of the newer sleds have a removable seat jack (1+1) option, so it will be a matter of your brand preference.

i'd really like to stick with Cat. I'm just out of it as far as these new F series sleds are concerned.

How new are you looking?
Some of the touring sleds (Panther/Pantera) are very nice with the adjustable backrest for one or two up.

possibly brand new. maybe an 09, but i could go 08 or 07 brand new is the price is right. I did see the '08 4 stroke jags for 6500...

If i do go 4 stroke, i'd probably go brand new seeing i know even less about them.
